I was administered Betaserc24 and 16 at different times. Both had the following effect on me.
1. After the night dose i woke up with a heavy head.
2. I could not concentrate and was feeling weeak.
3. My movements were also slow.
4. Could not think and there was a nagging drowsy feeling and constant pain at the back of the head.
5. Was feeling very thirsty. Got the feeling that my stomach is also affected.
6. The morning dose made me totaly weak and drowsy throught the day in the office. could not concentrate on anything.
7. By late evening i was feeling a bit better. Not fully o.k.
8. i skipped the next day morning doasage and i felt better and more or less normal. Though i could still feel the traces of all the above symptoms.
This feed back is given in good intention for the sake of patients and the company.

I started taking Betaserc since yesterday and feel exactly the same.

I am a low BP person. Since i was feeling very low (tired) had seen a GP, who prescribed Betaserc 16 mg 1 tab x 3 times. I took on pill at night, and found it very difficult to wake up in the morning. Am at office now, am feeling very dizzy. Not sure if this is an after effect of the tab which i took at night?

I was prescribed Betaserc 8 mg. It made me drowsy all day with exactly the same conditions as described by Vijay. This drug needs to be improved. I was having a feeling that I am drunk. Didn’t feel like working in the office.The effect subsides in 4 hours as it a 8 mg dose.
I am taking Betaserc 24 mg bid for my inner ear problem which the doctor diagnosed as peripheral vestibular imbalance. Betaserc helps to alleviate the symptoms but it makes me feel drowsy and sluggish for the first 2 – 4 hours after taking it. I also get rashes on some parts of my body maybe because I have urticaria. I understand that I have to take it for months before I get better. I don’t mind so long as I get better or cured.
I ASK ABOUT THE SIDE EFFECT OF BETASERC FOR BREGNANT IN THE FIVTH MONTH
After 2 days of treatment of 1 x 3 per (8gm) day got out of the dizziness feeling, but at night when a lay down after say 2 hrs I get this dizziness feeling thorough the night, but in the morning Iam able to go to work, but at night I hadly sleep because of the dizzy feeling, what should i do

I get this feeling every six months like and ive been taking betaserc 8mg.I get very alarmed and as someone said I get this dizziness when I make sudden movements in my sleep.Its so scary I dont want to sleep again!!I simply start on the tablets 3 times a day with my food and was asked to take Gravinate to avoid gastritis.It works for me. I take it 4 two weeks and I feel fine till the next time.I am 60.This time I felt a little imbalanced in my movements but just the 2nd day only. BTW i was given a few excercises which i do. Oh yes! I wish it would go away forever! Any remedy?
I have extremely bad irritable bowel syndrome. My stomach growls. Makes me hungry and tired. I’m quittig this tablet.
just i took it. lemme see. i gonna tell u next morning if any changes come. still im alright. i will be hopefully sick for this medicine!!
I dont know wether I am dizzy from the drug or my ears , it seems from the drug .
I am taking betaserc 24mg twice daily for almost 2 months already. My vertigo has gone but i am having severe headaches. I am not sure whether it is caused by betaserc or my ear.

I’ve been using Betaserc 24 twice a day for a month and I didn’t experience any side effects.
I was supposed to have this medicine or 10 days but i gave up after 5 days of having it, Its been 4 days that i am not eating it and i still feel tired at times, i think it was too much doze for me.
Betaserc 24 was subscribed to me two times a day. When I took first time, I felt like my left hand is numb. Then after few days it was ok, but after 5,6 day I felt like nosia maybe for two or three hours after taking it…That part I didnt understand?? One day I was ok after medicine, the other I wasnt good?!?!? Medicine helped me, I had strange sound in my left ear! It was destroying me, after 14 days I still had some strange sound!!! But finally I found that my problem was in kneck….
hello my doctor prescibed betaserc 8mg tds for 5/7, this is because i had this dizziness that catch after every hour, will it help me? is it okay that i continue taking, i forgot my morning doze and i have felt the dizziness again, and what could be my problem my BP is normal, though am using norplant as family planning.please help thanks.

I am suffering since 202 from dizzy and sound in my left ear I am using betaserc 16 mg but now adays almost daily I am suffering from this dizzy ness before it come after 6 months I dont now what to do go surgery pls advise me.
My ENT has recommended betaserc 24 mg once daily. After 11 days I had to give them up because of severe stomack pains which lasted two whole days (and nights)apparently gastritis. I cannot imagine why the problem should occur after 11 days but last year I experienced the same problem exactly. I stopped the pills but was not convinced they were the culprits. Should I go on them again? your advice would be appreciated.

Hi I been using betaserc for my vertigo from ear infection it stops the dizziness but makes me feel slow and heavy and I feel pressure in my head most of time which freaks me out and stomach imitation I feel my concentration is low
i started to take betaserc 2 days ago but until now im not feeling well,i thought it helps me for my vertigo but i feel nervous and at the same time i feel like my head is too heavy,my arms also feels like numb..do i have to stop taking it..or go back to my doctor..or is it the side effects

My mother got a cerebellum stroke since 03/06/12,and she has vertigo since then. After stemetil (vertigo) tabs, she is now taking Betaserc 8mg. She is complaining about thirst and has a dry throat. She is encountering lots of nervousness and cannot sleep at night. Are these signs of side effects of Betaserc? Please I need a reply badly. Thanks
istarted taking betaserc last 6/8/12 in 16mg coz i felt dizzy pain at the back of my neck little headache,actually i have a high preasure some times going up into 160/100 and sometimes going into 150/90 and 130/90 and im taking 16mg for 2days only and for the following days imake it into 8mg day and 8mg nightcoz even at night i felt dizzy.then i stop taking hte betaserc coz i could not sleep icould sleep late in the night 2or 3am then i woke up 8am and for the whole morning i dont fell even sleepy and still i felt dizzyness and pain at hte back of my neck,so please could you advise me what im going to do,im 53 years old.so thanks a lot
