Acamprosate side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 22, 2007. Male patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with alcohol use, prophylaxis, anxiety
and was treated with Acamprosate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, homicidal ideation, hypersensitivity. Acamprosate dosage: 666 MG;3 TIMES A DAY; ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ACAMPROSATE CALCIUM, ALPRAZOLAM, VENLAFAXINE HYDROCHLORIDE, LEVOTHYROXINE, BUSPIRONE, VENLAFAXINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
