Acarbose Side Effects Report #5306948-8
Acarbose side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Mar 26, 2007. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with unevaluable event, deep vein thrombosis  and was treated with Acarbose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, arrhythmia , aspartate aminotransferase increased, cardiac failure, cytolytic hepatitis, lung disorder, vertigo. Acarbose dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAHOR, MOGADON, FUROSEMIDE, PREVISCAN, FLECAINIDE ACETATE, ALLOPURINOL, TRIATEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, cytolytic hepatitis, lung disorder. Acarbose dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, MOGADON, FUROSEMIDE, PREVISCAN, FLECAINIDE ACETATE, ALLOPURINOL, TRIATEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
