Female patient, 69 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with ill-defined disorder, diabetic nephropathy, diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Acarbose. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, metabolic acidosis, renal failure acute. Acarbose dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COVERSYL, CALCICHEW, METFORMIN, FERROUS SULPHATE, FOLIC ACID, GLICLAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
