Acetadote side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 03, 2005. Male patient, 31 years of age, weighting 160.0 lb, was diagnosed with overdose and was treated with Acetadote. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, international normalised ratio increased, mental status changes. Acetadote dosage: 150MG/KG, 50 MG/KG, 100 MG/KG 15 MINS,4 + 16 HRS IV DRIP. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic encephalopathy, international normalised ratio increased, liver function test abnormal. Acetadote dosage: 150 MG/KG, 50 MG/KG, 100 MG/K OVER 1, 4, 16 HRS IV DRIP. During the same period patient was treated with LOPRESSOR, BICARBONATE, GOLYTELY, ACTIVATED CHARCOAL. Patient died.
