Acetylcysteine side effect was reported by a Physician from CHINA on Jan 06, 2009. Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with overdose and was treated with Acetylcysteine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, bradycardia, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, hypotension. Acetylcysteine dosage: 12,900MG IN 200ML IN 5% DEXTROSE/IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Patient died on 03/01/2007.
