Acetylcysteine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 22, 2007. Male patient, 47 years of age, weighting 171.1 lb, was diagnosed with overdose and was treated with Acetylcysteine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: infusion site erythema, infusion site reaction, infusion site swelling. Acetylcysteine dosage: ACETYLCYSTEINE 3880MG/500ML OVER 4 HR X 1 IV DRIP. Patient recovered.
