Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 145.5 lb, was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke and was treated with Activase. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: basal ganglia haemorrhage, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, cerebrovascular accident, intraventricular haemorrhage. Activase dosage: 6 MG ONETIME IV BOLUS; 54 MG ONETIME IV DRIP. Patient died on 06/10/2008.
