Aggrastat Side Effects Report #5911573-1
Aggrastat side effect was reported by a Physician from HUNGARY on Sept 24, 2008. Female patient, 71 years of age, weighting 134.5 lb, was diagnosed with cardiovascular event prophylaxis and was treated with Aggrastat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, cardiac failure, haemorrhagic diathesis, renal failure acute, respiratory failure, thrombocytopenia. Aggrastat dosage: ((0.25 MG/ML) INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX, HEPARIN, CLEXANE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/23/2008.

Aggrastat dosage: 0.25 MG/ML INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with PLAVIX, HEPARIN, ENOXAPARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/23/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: catheter related infection, clostridium difficile colitis, haemoglobin decreased, no therapeutic response, postrenal failure, pseudomonas infection, respiratory failure, respiratory tract infection, retroperitoneal haematoma. Aggrastat dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
