Pharmacist from UNITED STATES reported Albuterol side effect on May 27, 2008. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with bronchospasm and was treated with Albuterol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, bacteria blood identified, culture urine positive, hypovolaemia, klebsiella infection, productive cough, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism, pyrexia. Albuterol dosage: 5ML Q4H PO. During the same period patient was treated with IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, ACETYLCYSTEINE, LEVAQUIN, ZOSYN, VANCOMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, caesarean section, condition aggravated, hypovolaemia, metabolic acidosis, premature labour, protein urine present, respiratory failure. Albuterol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL SPIROS, HYDROCORTISONE, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, AMINOPHYLLINE, OXYGEN, MEDICINALPRODUCT NOT SPECIFIED BY SENDER. Patient recovered.
