Alendronic Side Effects Report #5801461-3
Alendronic side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on June 30, 2008. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with osteoporosis  and was treated with Alendronic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haematemesis, melaena, multi-organ failure. Alendronic dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/09/2006.

Patient recovered.
