Alteis side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from ITALY on Apr 12, 2007. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Alteis. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, asthenia, dehydration, hyponatraemia, renal failure acute. Alteis dosage: 20 MG (20 MG, 1 IN 1D) ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with GLUCOPHAGE S. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 55 years of age, weighting 273.4 lb, was diagnosed with essential hypertension, musculoskeletal pain and was treated with Alteis. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastric ulcer perforation, hyperkalaemia, myoglobinaemia, neutrophil percentage increased, peritonitis, platelet count increased, renal failure acute, septic shock, white blood cell count increased. Alteis dosage: 10 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with SEROPRAM, DAFALGAN CODEINE, PLAVIX, PARIET, BUFLOMEDIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with GLUCOPHAGE, LASIX, ULTRAVIST, PREVISCAN, LANTUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
