Altoprev side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 06, 2005. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Altoprev. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, aldolase increased, atrial fibrillation
, blood albumin decreased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood urea increased, fall
, hepatic fibrosis, hepatic steatosis. Altoprev dosage: 40 OR 60 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, COLACE, PEPCID, SYNTHROID, VICODIN, TYLENOL, TOPROLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
