Amantadine side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 25, 2006. Female patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinsonism and was treated with Amantadine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bedridden, cerebral infarction, coma, dementia What is  dementia, gait disturbance, lacunar infarction, myoclonus, pyrexia. Amantadine dosage: 300 MG, QD, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Amantadine dosage: 200 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with DROXIDOPA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CLOZARIL, CELEXA, SEROQUEL, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, RAMIPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
