Amikacin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 06, 2006. Male patient, 75 years of age, was treated with Amikacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal neoplasm, abdominal pain , abscess , aortic aneurysm , ascites, blood albumin decreased, blood chloride decreased, blood culture positive, blood glucose decreased. Amikacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRIMAXIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abscess , activated partial thromboplastin time shortened, aortic aneurysm , blood albumin decreased, blood chloride decreased, blood glucose increased, c-reactive protein increased, haematocrit decreased. Amikacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRIMAXIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
