Amoxapine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 28, 2008. Female patient, 56 years of age, weighting 166.4 lb, was diagnosed with depression
and was treated with Amoxapine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, alcohol use, amnesia, confusional state, decreased appetite, dysuria, headache
, hot flush. Amoxapine dosage: 100 MG NIGHTLY PO. During the same period patient was treated with SEROQUEL, PAXIL, OMEPRAZOLE, PAROXETINE, CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.Amoxapine Side Effects Report #5615438-4
Amoxapine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Jan 21, 2008. Female patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with bipolar i disorder and was treated with Amoxapine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, alanine aminotransferase increased, alcohol use, anaemia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, lung infiltration, lymphocytosis, neutrophilia. Amoxapine dosage: 2.5 MG, QD, 25 MG, QD, 75 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with LORAZEPAM, TRAZODONE, PAROXETINE, FUROSEMIDE, SULBACTAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
