Female patient, 86 years of age, was diagnosed with respiratory tract infection and was treated with Ampicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fall , pseudomembranous colitis, shock. Ampicillin dosage: unknown. Patient died.

Ampicillin side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 04, 2005. Male patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with bone infection and was treated with Ampicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depression , diarrhoea, diet refusal, disorientation, dizziness , face oedema, fall , feeling drunk, hallucination. Ampicillin dosage: 3.222 MG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with FENTANYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
