Ancaron side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Dec 31, 2004. Male patient, 82 years of age, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial flutter, cardiac failure congestive, chest discomfort, renal failure. Ancaron dosage: 100 MG 2X PER 1 DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, TICLOPIDINE, BUFFERIN, BAYASPIRINA, UBRETID, DOXAZOSIN MESYLATE, ALDACTONE, FAMOTIDINE. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia, epilepsy , cerebral infarction and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, disseminated intravascular coagulation, hepatitis fulminant, multi-organ failure. Ancaron dosage: 1.20 MG/DL (INFUSION RATE: 10 ML/HR). During the same period patient was treated with TEGRETOL, LASIX, BUFFERIN, ZANTAC. Patient died on 04/09/2008.

Female patient was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia, cardiac failure congestive, gastritis prophylaxis and was treated with Ancaron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, cardiac failure congestive, condition aggravated. Ancaron dosage: 1.25 MG/L @ 10 ML/MIN. During the same period patient was treated with LASIX, TAKEPRON, WARFARIN, VASOLAN, BLOPRESS, ARTIST. Patient died on 11/30/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , cardiac failure congestive, condition aggravated, thyroiditis. Ancaron dosage: 200 MG 1X PER 1 DAY ORAL. Patient recovered.
