Antabuse side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Apr 20, 2007. Male patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with alcoholism What is  alcoholism and was treated with Antabuse. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, altered state of consciousness, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood pressure increased, cerebral atrophy, confusional state, coordination abnormal, delirium. Antabuse dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ETHYL LOFLAZEPATE, IFENPRODIL TARTRATE, CYANAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
