Aripiprazole side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 30, 2006. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Aripiprazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, mania, oedema peripheral. Aripiprazole dosage: 5 MG DAILY PO. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, delusion, hepatic failure, hypoglycaemia, hypothermia , insomnia, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pneumonia aspiration. Aripiprazole dosage: 27JUN07-2JUN07;12MG, 6DAYS.12JUL-7AUG:30MG, 3WEEK 6DAYS. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, BIPERIDEN LACTATE, QUAZEPAM, HALOPERIDOL. Patient died on 08/17/2007.

During the same period patient was treated with LEVOMEPROMAZINE MALEATE, BIPERIDEN HYDROCHLORIDE, BIPERIDEN LACTATE, QUAZEPAM, HALOPERIDOL, CEFOTIAM, RINGERS SOLUTION, MAINTENANCE MEDIUM. Patient died on 08/17/2007.
