Atgam Side Effects Report #4713493-7
Atgam side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on June 21, 2005. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 263.2 lb, was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Atgam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, alanine aminotransferase increased, atrioventricular block second degree, hyperbilirubinaemia, hypersensitivity, hypocalcaemia, hypomagnesaemia, infusion related reaction, international normalised ratio increased. Atgam dosage: 4820 MG (QD), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, FUROSEMIDE, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, HYDROCORTISONE, LEVOXYL, TESTOSTERONE, TROGLITAZONE, NEXIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, prophylaxis and was treated with Atgam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypersensitivity, loss of consciousness, rash , tremor. Atgam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIPHENHYDRAMINE. Patient recovered.
