Atovaquone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 12, 2009. Female patient, weighting 134.7 lb, was diagnosed with antifungal prophylaxis and was treated with Atovaquone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, chest pain What is  chest pain, lip swelling, nausea What is  nausea, salivary hypersecretion, systemic inflammatory response syndrome. Atovaquone dosage: 750 MG/5 ML 1500 MG DAILY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with RALTEGRAVIR, TRUVADA, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, VALTREX, PROMETHAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
