Atovaquone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 18, 2005. Female patient, 26 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with malaria prophylaxis and was treated with Atovaquone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: malaria , memory impairment, plasmodium falciparum infection, weight decreased. Atovaquone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TERBINAFINE, CYCLIZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
