Female patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus and was treated with Azathioprine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abscess , back pain , cd4 lymphocytes decreased, diarrhoea, escherichia infection, hypogammaglobulinaemia, immunodeficiency common variable, jaundice , lymphocyte count decreased. Azathioprine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE. Patient died.
