Aztreonam and rash maculo-papular Patient Reports March 18, 2010

Aztreonam Side Effects Report #4945345-1
Aztreonam side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 15, 2006. Male patient, 59 years of age, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Aztreonam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: rash maculo-papular. Aztreonam dosage: 500MG IV Q 8 HOURS. During the same period patient was treated with CLINDAMYCIN, RANITIDINE, BACLOFEN, DOCUSATE, ATENOLOL, LOVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Aztreonam side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 21, 2008. Male patient, 54 years of age, weighting 208.3 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Aztreonam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erythema, rash maculo-papular. Aztreonam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, RIFAMPIN, APAP, ATORVASTATIN, ENALAPRIL MALEATE, LEXAPRO, ETHACRYNIC ACID, INSULIN. Patient recovered.
