Barium side effect was reported by a Physician from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Aug 19, 2008. Female patient, 48 years of age, was diagnosed with anastomotic leak, barium swallow and was treated with Barium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: appendicitis . Barium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BARIUM SULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
