Barium side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 09, 2008. Female patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with barium enema, abdominal pain , angina pectoris and was treated with Barium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, cardiac failure, diverticulum intestinal, flatulence, intestinal ischaemia, intestinal obstruction. Barium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ANTISPASMODICS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
