Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Aug 03, 2005. Female patient, 54 years of age, was diagnosed with liver transplant What is  liver transplant and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: biopsy liver abnormal, blood bilirubin increased, hepatic congestion, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatic haemorrhage, hepatic necrosis, hepatotoxicity, liver transplant rejection. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE, TACROLIMUS, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient recovered.

Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 22, 2008. Male patient was diagnosed with liver transplant What is  liver transplant and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anuria, arteriosclerosis coronary artery, atelectasis, bile duct necrosis, bile duct stenosis, biliary tract disorder, blood bilirubin increased, bronchopneumonia, c-reactive protein increased. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, DIPIDOLOR, NOVALGIN, PREDNISOLONE, VALCYTE, PANTOPRAZOLE, URSO FALK, DILATREND. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/24/2008.
