Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Feb 06, 2008. Male patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, cardiac tamponade, chronic allograft nephropathy, complications of transplanted kidney, kidney transplant rejection, pericarditis, pleural effusion, primary effusion lymphoma, renal impairment. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, PREDNISONE, RAPAMYCIN, CYCLOSPORINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Basiliximab side effect was reported by a Health Professional from ITALY on Dec 04, 2007. Female patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Basiliximab. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, clostridium difficile colitis, colectomy, colitis ischaemic, complications of transplant surgery, complications of transplanted kidney, cytomegalovirus colitis, diarrhoea haemorrhagic, gastrointestinal inflammation. Basiliximab dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TACROLIMUS, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
