Benzonatate side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 14, 2007. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with cough and was treated with Benzonatate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, laryngospasm, oxygen saturation decreased, stridor, unresponsive to stimuli. Benzonatate dosage: ORAL;100.0 MILLIGRAM. During the same period patient was treated with HYDRALAZINE, ISOSORBIDE DINITRATE, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, ASPIRIN, SIMVASTATIN, CLOPIDOGREL, LISINOPRIL. Patient recovered.
