Betapace side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 17, 2006. Female patient, 89 years of age, weighting 110.0 lb, was diagnosed with heart rate irregular, blood cholesterol increased, hypertension and was treated with Betapace. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, depressed level of consciousness, hepatic enzyme increased, lethargy, loss of consciousness. Betapace dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PRAVACHOL, TYLENOL W, DIOVAN HCT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 76 years of age, weighting 150.8 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Betapace. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , cardiac pacemaker removal, cardio-respiratory arrest, device related infection, electrocardiogram qt corrected interval prolonged, electrocardiogram st segment abnormal, loss of consciousness, renal failure, therapeutic agent toxicity. Betapace dosage: 160 MG BID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with BETAPACE AF, SYNTHROID, COUMADIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
