Bufferin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Dec 22, 2004. Female patient, 26 years of age, weighting 119.0 lb, was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis and was treated with Bufferin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bleeding time prolonged, brain natriuretic peptide increased, cardiac failure, dilatation ventricular, dyspnoea, ejection fraction decreased. Bufferin dosage: 81 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with ONEALFA, LASIX, ZANTAC, SELBEX, PREDNISOLONE, NEORAL, VALSARTAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
