Bumetanide side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 11, 2006. Female patient, 91 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, osteoarthritis , ill-defined disorder, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Bumetanide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood potassium increased, electrolyte imbalance, renal failure. Bumetanide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DICLOFENAC, IBUPROFEN, SPIRONOLACTONE, DIGOXIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute prerenal failure, asthenia, blood potassium increased, dehydration, dry skin, electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, electrolyte imbalance, gait disturbance, hypotension. Bumetanide dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: electrolyte imbalance, orthostatic hypotension, polyuria. Bumetanide dosage: 2 MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with METOPROLOL TARTRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
