Female patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with gastrooesophageal reflux disease and was treated with Carafate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, chest pain
, dysgeusia, malaise, nausea
, product quality issue. Carafate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CORDARONE, TOPROL, ECOPRIN, SYNTHROID, ESTRATES, SYMBYAX, ZANTAC, MACRODANTIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
