Carbidopa side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 10, 2006. Female patient, 63 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinsonism and was treated with Carbidopa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, agitation, anxiety , balance disorder, delusion, fear, movement disorder . Carbidopa dosage: 125 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, WELLBUTRIN, ESCITALOPRAM, NEFAZODONE, HYDROCODONE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, anxiety , areflexia, bedridden, bladder sphincter atony, cardiac arrest , delusion. Carbidopa dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEVODOPA, SINEMET CR, JUNEX, AMANTADINE, DOPAMINE AGENTS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with AGGRENOX, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE, TERAZOSIN, LIPITOR, GLYBURIDE, AVELOX, ZOLOFT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
