Carmustine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Mar 15, 2005. Male patient, weighting 172.8 lb, was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme and was treated with Carmustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholelithiasis, emphysematous cholecystitis, malignant neoplasm progression. Carmustine dosage: 200MG IV ONCE Q 6 WEEKS. During the same period patient was treated with TOPOTECAN, LIPITOR, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, COREG, CALTRATE, DECADRON, ZANTAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, weighting 179.5 lb, was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma and was treated with Carmustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholelithiasis, pancreatitis. Carmustine dosage: 60 MG/M2, IV DAYS 1-3 EVERY TWO MONTHS (PATIENT WAS DOSE REDUCED AFTER FIRST CYCLE TO 60 MG M2). Patient recovered.
