Carmustine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 15, 2008. Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 149.9 lb, was diagnosed with diffuse large b-cell lymphoma and was treated with Carmustine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain natriuretic peptide increased, cardiac failure congestive, ejection fraction decreased, platelet count decreased, pleural effusion, ventricular dysfunction, weight increased. Carmustine dosage: 225 MG; DAILY; INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, ETOPOSIDE, DOXORUBICIN, VINCRISTINE, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: inflammation, pleural effusion, pneumonia What is  pneumonia. Carmustine dosage: 990 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, ETOPOSIDE, RITUXIMAB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
