Cefotaxime side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Oct 08, 2007. Male patient, child 1 years of age, was diagnosed with meningitis bacterial and was treated with Cefotaxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: decreased appetite, irritability, meningitis aseptic. Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFTRIAXONE, AMPICILLIN, PIPERACILLIN, PANIPENEM, CHLORAMPHENICOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
