Cefotaxime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Aug 30, 2005. Female patient, child 11 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with osteomyelitis, encephalitis What is  encephalitis, agitation and was treated with Cefotaxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral infarction, encephalitis What is  encephalitis, osteomyelitis, rash maculo-papular, sinusitis What is  sinusitis. Cefotaxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METRONIDAZOLE, ACYCLOVIR, CHLORAL HYDRATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
