Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Dec 04, 2006. Female patient was diagnosed with ear infection  and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, angioneurotic oedema, aspartate aminotransferase increased, white blood cell count increased. Cefpodoxime dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Cefpodoxime side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on May 17, 2006. Female patient, 24 years of age, was diagnosed with bronchitis , ear infection , pharyngitis, headache , influenza, myalgia and was treated with Cefpodoxime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bronchitis , coagulation factor v level decreased, diabetic ketoacidosis, discomfort, ear infection , hepatic trauma. Cefpodoxime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CEFPODOXIME PROXETIL, CEFPODOXIME PROXETIL, CAFFEINE. Patient recovered.
