Ceftazidime side effect was reported by a Physician from ARGENTINA on Jan 02, 2007. Female patient, 79 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Ceftazidime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic function abnormal, multi-organ failure. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. Patient died.

Female patient, 79 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Ceftazidime. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coagulopathy, hepatic function abnormal, lung disorder, multi-organ failure, poor peripheral circulation, renal impairment, septic shock. Ceftazidime dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LINEZOLID. Patient died on 11/27/2006.
