Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Ceftriaxone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , chest discomfort, cyanosis, depressed level of consciousness, dysarthria, dyspnoea, palpitations, peripheral coldness. Ceftriaxone dosage: GIVEN WITH 500 ML 0.9% SODIUM CHLORIDE SOLUTION.. During the same period patient was treated with RIBAVIRIN, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient died.
