Cefuroxim side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Mar 11, 2006. Female patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with endophthalmitis and was treated with Cefuroxim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: conjunctival oedema, exophthalmos, eye inflammation, intraocular pressure test. Cefuroxim dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIGNOCAINE, BUPIVACAINE, HYALURONIDASE, PROXYMETACAINE, POVIDONE IODINE, PREDNISOLONE, CHLORAMPHENICOL. Patient recovered.
