Chlorpromazine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 31, 2008. Female patient, 62 years of age, weighting 131.2 lb, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder , mania, schizoaffective disorder and was treated with Chlorpromazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, abnormal behaviour, cholestasis, jaundice , nausea , psychotic disorder , weight decreased. Chlorpromazine dosage: 50 MG TID PO. During the same period patient was treated with CARBAMAZEPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Chlorpromazine dosage: 40MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with QUETIAPINE. Patient recovered.
