Cholestyramine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on June 17, 2008. Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with pruritus, prophylaxis, upper gastrointestinal haemorrhage and was treated with Cholestyramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration, aspiration tracheal, bezoar, intestinal obstruction, mechanical ventilation, respiratory distress. Cholestyramine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OMEPRAZOLE, LACTULOSE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
