Ciproxin and neutropenia Patient Reports February 09, 2010

Ciproxin Side Effects Report #5581558-6
Ciproxin side effect was reported by a Physician from NORWAY on Dec 18, 2007. Female patient, 81 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia legionella, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Ciproxin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: intra-abdominal haematoma, neutropenia, pulmonary embolism . Ciproxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MAREVAN, KLEXANE. Patient died on 11/27/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: international normalised ratio increased, intra-abdominal haematoma, lymphadenopathy, metastases to lymph nodes, neutropenia, pulmonary embolism . Ciproxin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MAREVAN, KLEXANE. Patient recovered.
