Clomipramine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from ITALY on Nov 06, 2008. Male patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Clomipramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal rigidity, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood calcium decreased, blood chloride increased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood glucose decreased. Clomipramine dosage: 75 MG; DAILY;. During the same period patient was treated with OLANZAPINE, CANDESARTAN, INSULIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood calcium decreased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood pressure increased, blood sodium decreased. Clomipramine dosage: 75MG DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with OLANZAPINE, CANDESARTAN, INSULIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Clomipramine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 01, 2008. Male patient, 51 years of age, weighting 161.6 lb, was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, constipation , extrapyramidal disorder and was treated with Clomipramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, autonomic neuropathy, chest discomfort, colonic atony, constipation , diabetes mellitus, kyphosis, psychotic disorder , respiratory failure. Clomipramine dosage: 125MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CLOZAPINE, AMISULPRIDE, LITHIUM CARBONATE, MOVICOL, PROCYCLIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE, VENLAFAXINE. Patient died on 12/23/2006.
