Colchicine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Feb 20, 2008. Female patient, weighting 149.0 lb, was diagnosed with neck pain, temporomandibular joint syndrome and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alternaria infection, angiopathy, arrhythmia , arthralgia, asthenia, bladder pain, bone pain, burning sensation, candidiasis. Colchicine dosage: 2 MG 1 WK IV BOLUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 210.0 lb, was diagnosed with gout  and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, asthenia, c-reactive protein increased, dysstasia, fall , hypotonia, muscle enzyme increased. Colchicine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIPITOR, NORVASC, INSULIN, GLIPIZIDE, ACTOS, OMEGA. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, asthenia, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, hypoxia, pain . Colchicine dosage: 0.6 MG DAILY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with SIMVASTATIN, DIGOXIN, FUROSEMIDE, GABAPENTIN, LORATADINE, METOPROLOL, ENSURE, PROPOXYPHENE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
