Colchicine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 27, 2007. Female patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with pericarditis and was treated with Colchicine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: renal failure acute. Colchicine dosage: COLCHICINE 0.6 MG PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Colchicine dosage: 0.6MG BID. During the same period patient was treated with PERCOCET. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Colchicine dosage: 1 TABLET Q1H -MAX 6MG/24H- PO. Patient died on 03/24/2009.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood uric acid increased, dehydration, diarrhoea, renal failure acute. Colchicine dosage: 0.6 MG TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , acidosis, cardiac arrest , depressed level of consciousness, diarrhoea, hypotension, renal failure acute, vomiting. Colchicine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NSAID, AUGMENTIN, AMOXICILLIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Colchicine dosage: 0.5 MG, TID. Patient died.
