Colistin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Aug 04, 2004. Female patient, 40 years of age, was treated with Colistin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, dialysis What is  dialysis, operative haemorrhage, paralysis What is  paralysis, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis, respiratory failure, shock haemorrhagic. Colistin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LASILIX, ALUMINUM HYDROXIDE AND MAGNESIUM TRISILICATE, NEBCIN, FORTUM, OMEPRAZOLE, ACTRAPID, INSULATARD NPH, CREON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
